Program

During the Berlin Days on the World Expo 2010 the European Square is changing into the Berlin Square. These 5 days in Shanghai will be filled with music, performances and a lot of action.

Between the concerts of the Berlin bands Jahcoozi, Jeans Team, Kissogramm and Pitchtuner a grand performance with 25 continuously moving cubes will attract the visitors of the 600 sqm wide area and invite them to get in touch with Berlins fluid creative scene. The yellow AKI-mascots by graphic artist Akinori Oishi takes care for a happy ambience and DJ-Ipek will heat up the vibe  with her eclectic sound sets. The crew members of the Berlin based Hip-Hop Headquarter will show their talents by colouring the scene with patterns and spray cans.

Additional to this events the large video projection “City Codes”  on the nearby German Pavilion shows nonverbal styles of communication between teenagers in 6 different countries.
