Showtime!

Yesterday evening the great moment had come: At four o’clock p.m. Robert Eysoldt member of the executive board of Create Berlin passed the scissors to Berlin senator Harald Wolf to open the Berlin Square in Shanghai.

Within the next 4 days Berlin presents his creative excellence throughout all disciplines as part of the GERMAN PAVILION “BALANCITY”: Be it music, film, fashion design or street art – the BERLIN SQUARE will show a representative cross-section of Berlins creative scene.

The first day on the Square was a complete success. After the official opening Jahcoozi played a live concert and Akim Walter from Hip Hop Headquarter startet a live graffiti action.

Robert Eysoldt, dressed in a paper overall made by ESMOD school of design, is excited by the successful launch: “The Berlin Square concept with it’s mix of of fashion, music and design couldn’t work even better. The visitors of the World Expo are playfully integrated right from the start. Four exciting days still looming ahead. ”
