Michael Sontag – Simple. Straight. Classy.

Over the last BERLIN FASHION WEEK in January 2010 the Berlin newcomer Michael Sontag became internationally renowned. For the makers of ELLE magazin he is the most interesting Youngster among german designers. On the first pinnacle of his young career the Berlin fashion designer Sontag stays cool and focus on his master collection at the WEISSENSEE – SCHOOL OF ARTS.

The talented guy worked as intern at C.NEEON, KENZO and GIVENCHY in Paris and spended some time at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs. Additionaly to his studies Michael Sontag is working as Stylist and art director. The clothes of Michael Sontag are ispired by materials, fabrics and surfaces.

His collections combine finest materials like silk, cashmere and wool with simple cuts. The natural materials of Sontags collections floating free and easy, accidentally wrinkles and crumples makes his pieces especial and poetic. Michael Sontag is part of the Berlin Square 2010 in Shanghai.
