All together now!

In 2010 the BERLIN MUSIC WEEK takes place in Berlin for the first time. During this week in September all divisions of music culture and music business will have a chance to get connected. Especially the all2gethernow 2010 convention offers a platform for all those interested in music, creativity and culture and the environments enabling their production, distribution and consumption. all2gethernow invites music business, Internet and web2.0 experts, publishers, distributors, labels, managements, promoters and organisers, musicians and composers, public, private sector and collecting agency representatives and music listeners and fans to exchange experiences and discuss new concepts.

The ambitious a2n program is structured into a curated and an open part, the latter defined by innovative barcamp and workshop formats. Seven theme tracks provide the grid for the most pressing questions of the music- and creative industries: ROLES & IDENTITIES, BUSINESS MODELS, MARKETING & DISTRIBUTION, POLITICS & CULTURE, COPYRIGHT & LICENSING, MEDIA & TECHNOLOGY and ARTS & MAKING MUSIC. Up to 300 various workshops and sessions as well as 24 keynote speakers from around the world are scheduled for the convention. a2n is an invitation towards all affiliated with the music industry and bordering cultural and creative branches – from artists, to music enterprises, media, web providers, politicians or interested users and fans – to expand thoughts on how to take the workings of the industry to the next level. a2n moderates the forum, focusses on finding solutions, developing ideas and most importantly, learning from each other. The a2n camp and the a2n conference will take place from 6th – 10th September 2010 at Berlin-Kreuzberg and at the Berlin-Tempelhof- Airport.

Engage, think ahead and out of the box!

ALL2TOGETHERNOW e.V.was founded in Berlin in the summer of 2009 as a reaction following last years sudden cancellation of the traditional tradeshow Popkomm. Music executives, managers from the creative industries, organizers of the worldwide digital-culture conference “re:publica” as well as other representatives of the Berlin cultural and media scenes united to create a new platform for an open dialogue outside the genre and typical hierarchically set confinements. Organized within just 9 weeks, over 1000 participants and more than 100 workshops and events, established a2n as a successful new conference format in Berlin.
