Music from Berlin – young, loud and successful
Berlin is the music capital of germany. There is an extraordinarily high density of clubs, bars and discos- all of them devoted to one topic: music! No matter if classic, pop, jazz, hiphop, soul and rock, punk or underground – all styles and genres are represented. Berlin is driven by music. The sum of thousands of sounds, songs and melodies delivers the soundtrack of a pulsating city. It’s the music that makes berlin so liveable.
In 2010 the BERLIN MUSIC WEEK takes place in Berlin for the first time. During this week in september all divisions of music culture and music business will have a chance to get connected.
A great variety of conventions, meetings, lectures and sessions around All2gethernow as well as the music fair POPKOMM will attract musicians, artists and music aficionados from all over the world. Like many other things in Berlin, also the music business is facing a shakeup. Digitalization and new trends in distribution and copyright are asking for creative ideas and solutions.
